4 Myths about 'New Born and the Quantity of their Breast Milk' that makes the Mother Worry!!!

I have already shared a article that will help a Mother to ensure that her New Born is getting enough Milk. However there were few more concerns that has been conveyed, as soon as I posted the article Is My Baby Getting Enough Breast Milk?4 Signs To Find It Out. So this article is a continuation of the first one(so please read that before you read this article, link shared above) in which I am sharing few Myths that a mother never have to be worried about.

         1. The Time duration a baby nurses is not all related to the quantity of the milk it is taking in. Time just depends upon how perfect the baby has latched.(click here for the article about Latching Problem). For a clear picture, A well Latched 2 Months old baby can fill his tummy in less than 5 minutes. Mothers who wanted to know the exact position of feeding for better latching can contact me through the mail id(divyaanbarasu19@gmail.com).

          2. Never Judge the Fullness of your Baby's Tummy with the Size of it. Trust Me!! I have never seen any size of my son's tummy except the Flattened one till he was exclusively fed with breast milk.

         3. Experts say that only 30% of the milk is secreted and stored in the breast. The rest gets secreted only when the baby nurses(The secreting glands are more active at that time comparatively). So Again the Size of the breast of the mother does not depend upon the quantity of the milk.

       4. As said already a baby should urinate a minimum of 6-8 times in a day. One can relate the Number of times the baby Urinates to the Quantity of the Milk but not the Number of times the baby poops(solid excretion).
